Tra un colpo di martello e l’altro… finalmente l’allestimento dello stand Buttonmad ad Italia Invita (ne avevamo parlato qui) è terminato!

Giunti al termine di questa nuova avventura…desideriamo ringraziare vivamente NI e suo marito Fausto (che ha aiutato Elena e Alessio nello smontaggio dello stand), e poi aggiungere che….

Grazie al sostegno di chi ha acquistato i bottoni Buttonmad abbiamo inoltre potuto donare 1000 euro all’Associazione “Una scuola per Mirandola” (www.unascuolapermirandola.it) per la ricostruzione della scuola colpita dal sisma in Emilia.

Fra pochissimi giorni Buttonmad esporrà a Parma ad Italia Invita (evento dedicato alla creatività tessile)

ed in collaborazione con NI by Bear’s house ….dal 10 al 12 maggio 2013

due volte al giorno: alle 11.00 e alle 15.00 si terranno

allo stand H 009 del padiglione 3

delle splendide dimostrazioni con i bottoni a cuore Buttonmad L 486 e del “filo di ferro”

con le quali vi verrà mostrato come realizzare raffinate tags/cards in “vintage shabby style”

Ma non vogliamo svelarvi altro…se siete anche solo un pochino incuriositi e

desiderate saperne di più seguite nei prossimi giorni il sito di NI qui.

Mi raccomando ci vediamo a Parma ad Italiainvita!

Da qualche tempo ho scoperto un bellissimo blog Filo-so-pia ricco di semplici e deliziosi tutorial di cucito creativo, vi consiglio di visitarlo! Il progetto che ho scelto lo potete trovare qui.

Sulla tecnica per cucire i ”cestini di stoffa” con fodere si basa questo progetto….e altra cosa simpatica sembrano fatti apposta per essere decorati con i bottoni Buttonmad.

This project is based on the technique of sewing “baskets of cloth” with liners inside …. and the other nice thing is that it seems made to be decorated with Buttonmad buttons!

Possono essere usati come bomboniere, come sacchetti regalo, come piccoli contenitori in bagno o nella cameretta di un bambino.

Sono i dettagli che contano, le cuciture eseguite con passione per il cucito come i bottoni Buttonmad modellati a mano con amore!

They can be used as wedding favors, such as gift bags, as small containers in the child bathroom or bedroom.

Occorrente: cartina di bottoni a cuore Buttonmad (vi servirà solo un bottone), una cartina di stelline blu L 234, un paio di cotonine sulle tonalità del rosa, avanzi di stoffine per i cuoricini da applicare ai tre angoli della tovaglietta. I bottoni potete acquistarli nel nostro negozio online.

What you need: Buttonmad heart buttons set (you will need only one button), a blue stars L 234 set , a pair of cotton pink shade fabrics, some fabric pieces for the hearts to be applied to three corners of the placemat. You can buy the buttons on our online store.

Esecuzione: cucite la tazza di stoffa (precedentemente decorata con pizzo e il cuore di stoffa imbottito) alla tovaglietta.

Execution: sew the fabric cup (previously decorated with lace and the stuffed fabric heart) to the placemat.

Cucire i cuori, rifinirli con le impunture, imbottirli e fissarli a mano agli angoli della tovaglietta.

Sew the stitched and stuffed hearts to placemat corners by hand.

Cucire dritto contro dritto la tovaglietta lasciando aperto sul fondo e risvoltare. Imbottire con la cotonina.

Sew the right sides together leaving open on the bottom and turning. Fill in with stuffing.

Ed ecco la mia tovaglietta bella e pronta in tavola! All’interno della tazza potrete metterci le posate! Che ne dite, vi piace l’idea?

Così quando Piera Riboli ci ha contattato via mail e abbiamo visto questi bellissimi bracciali che ha creato ne siamo rimasti entusiasti !

Io li trovo molto allegri ed originali! Soprattutto molto simpatica l’idea di utilizzare la linea teeny tiny, i minuscoli bottoni di splendide fantasie come questi:

Ieri ci ha scritto Miriana una fan del nostro blog che segue con interesse il progetto Buttonmad dei bottoni dal Sudafrica !

Yesterday Miriana, a fan of our blog who follows with interest Buttonmad buttons project from South Africa, wrote us!

Ci ha inviato queste belle foto della sua creazione: un abito lungo invernale decorato con il bottone Buttonmad L 343 che potete trovare qui nel nostro negozio online.

Come riciclare i barattoli della Lavazza…con i bottoni Buttonmad!

Occorrente: barattolo del caffè, feltro, colla a caldo e bottoni Buttonmad!

You will need: coffee pot, felt, hot glue and Buttonmad buttons!

Ritagliate le decorazioni e le lettere in feltro e applicate i bottoni Buttonmad che avete scelto !

Cut out the decorations and felt letters then apply Buttonmad buttons you have chosen!

Rivestite il barattolo di latta con il feltro fissandolo con la colla a caldo. Ritagliate un cerchio di feltro e fissatela alla base del barattolo. Fissate poi le lettere al cilindro di feltro con degli spilli e decidete anche come disporre i bottoni.

Cover the can with felt and secure with hot glue. Cut a circle of felt for the base of the can and glue . Now secure the letters to the cylinder felt with pins and also decide how to arrange the buttons.

Ora incollate le lettere ed i bottoni con la colla a caldo secondo il vostro gusto!

Now glue the letters and buttons with hot glue to suit your taste!

Ora cucite la foderina di stoffa un po’ abbondante per l’interno …..ed inseritela nel barattolo in modo che un po’ di stoffa formi il bordo e ricopra il feltro esterno.

Now sew the cloth seat cover a bit abundant for the interior ….. and insert it into the can so that a little’ of cloth forming the edge and covers the felt outside.

Tutorial dou-dou pasquale!

Il dou-dou e’ un oggetto caro ai bimbi che puo’ essere un pupazzetto da portare ovunque ! Questo e’ il mio cucito con tanto amore…e legato con un anello per non perderlo!

Dou-dou is a beloved object by children, a puppet to take anywhere! That ‘s my work I made with so much love … and I sew a ring in order not to miss it!

Tagliate la stoffa per le orecchie(x2), la testa (x2), le zampe (x4) ed il corpo del coniglio (x2).

Decorate la parte frontale con i bottoni e cucite corpo e testa insieme come in foto.

Inserite l’imbottitura nelle orecchie e nelle zampe e ripiegatele all’interno del corpo. Imbastite corpo e testa dritto contro dritto e risvoltate.

Cut the fabric for the ears (x2), the head (x2), the feet (x4) and the body of the rabbit (x2).

Decorate the front with buttons and sew body and head together as in the picture.

Place the stuffing into ears and feet and fold into the body. Baste the body and head right sides together and turned over.

Fra qualche giorno è il compleanno della mia piccola Bea. Già 4 anni !!!! E’ una donnina ormai ! Ogni tanto quando ci prepariamo per uscire vuole indossare una delle sue collane con le perline di legno e una borsetta per giocare a fare la grande !

In a few days it’s Bea’s birthday. She’s already 4 years old! It’s a little woman now! Sometimes when we get ready to leave home she wants to wear one of her necklaces with wooden bead and a hand bag like her Mum !

Ho pensato di cucirgliene io una…”dolcissima” decorata con muffin di feltro, perline e bottoni Buttonmad.

I decided to sew for her…a “sweet” bag decorated with felt muffins, beads and Buttonmad buttons.

La caratteristica di questa borsa è che ha due “facce” sia all’interno che all’esterno (i tessuti e le decorazioni sono diversi su ogni lato)!

The characteristic of this bag is that it has two “faces” both inside and outside (fabrics and decorations are different on each side)!

Le paperelle Buttonmad L462 sfilano con i pattini a rotelle su una bella camicetta rosso papavero!

Buttonmad L462 ducks stand out with their roller skates on a beautiful red poppy blouse!

Ieri si sono svolte le prime prove generali del saggio di danza classica della scuola di Bea ! Ecco le bimbe sdraiate ed attente alle spiegazioni dell’insegnante! L’ “evento” che si svolge ogni anno è davvero emozionante…. si tiene in un teatro a giugno per due sere consecutive e vi partecipano tutti i 50 alunni della scuola dai 3 ai 25 anni!

Yesterday there were the trials of Bea’s dance recital. Here are the little girls of the school lying and careful listening to teacher’s explanations! The “event” that takes place every year is really heart-warming …. it will be held in a theater in June for two consecutive evenings and all 50 school students aged from 3 to 25 years will be there!

Ad ogni alunno della scuola sono stati cuciti dei costumi fatti a mano su misura. Questa bellissiama camicetta in cotone rosso con le manichine a sbuffo è quella che indossera’ Bea insieme ad una tutullette nera. Io mi sono divertita a decorarla con i bottoni Buttonmad ed una farfallina in feltro.

Each student has his own dress sewn by hand out for him! This beautiful red cotton blouse with puff sleeves is Bea’s one! She will wear it together with a black tutullette. I enjoyed to decorate it with Buttonmad buttons and a felt butterfly.

Questi bottoni appartengono alla fantasia dedicata ai bambini!
